About me

After 18 years working a major bank arranging Home loans, in 1998  my world got turned upside down and I left the Bank.  I was then introduced to the mortgage broking industry. With my qualifications and background it was an easy choice to become a Mortgage Broker. I quickly grew to enjoy helping people obtain Home Loans without the restriction of just one lenders policies or products.

Initially I operated from a purpose built office in our home in Albion Park. Then, as the business demands increased we moved to our current office in Shellharbour. We are now situated in the Accounting Professionals Building in Burra Place Shellharbour City Centre.

While working for the bank, I obtained an Assoc Diploma in Business (Accounting) and completed a number of courses on Commercial Lending and Asset Finance. My experience working for a major bank covered the area’s of Home Loans, Commercial Loans and Asset Finance. This background gave me a great start when it came to working for myself. In the years since I started mortgage broking, I have helped a large number of people arrange Home Loans. They have bought homes and commercial properties as well as cars, trucks and even farms. I have also helped a lot of people refinance their current loan/debts into more cost effective products. This usually saves them hundreds of dollars a month in repayments. (in one case it was a $3,500 p/m saving)

My goal is to educate borrowers in addition to helping arrange the required finance.  I maintain contact with my customers after the initial transaction is done so they can confidently come back to me to answer questions that may arise in the future. I also have a lot of clients referring their friends and family to me which is a great testimony to the value they feel I give them.
